Cool Places to go party???

Hello everyone! I'll be in Aruba on 2 weeks with some friends... I'd like to know what are the best places to go for a drink, to dance and party. We'll be staying at the Westin hotel. I've heard and read about some clubs like Rain, Confession's, Jimmy's Place, where are those??

I went to Aruba last year and visit Sr, Frog's, but I read that it's been removed to the hotels area (Palm Beach).

Thanks!

Nice... I think this location has a better location, near to several hotels.

I went to the last location and it was excellent!

Thanks for the information!

Senor Frogs is now in the same plaza area across from the high rises as Hard Rock, Cafe Rembrandt, Milano's, Cafe de Pijp, Buster's, Chino Latino and Confessions.
MooMba is on the beach, near the Holiday Inn/Marriot. Sunday is the hot night there.

New to the landscape is Zissles, which is featuring the band Joyride, a Cuban night and an 80's night, in addition to their stage show/dinner package, "D'licious".

Each club has at least one "hot" night, depending on what they feature. You could come to this same block, and find everyone at one club the first night, a completely different one the next. It will be clear where people are, just walking those three plazas.

Outside Busters Garage (sports bar) is South Beach Lounge, which features Latin music and a younger crowd (sometimes DJ's or live bands), although you can watch locals making drinks out of the trunks of their cars all around, walking around South Beach Lounge with their own "car cocktails". Police patrol frequently, for obvious reasons (including drugs and fights), so this one is not on my suggested list, unless knocking a buck off the price of a Balashi is high priority.

Jimmy's is downtown, near La Granja, and is primary a gay club, but very busy with an excellent DJ LATE (say, 1am, 2am, 3am) on Friday and Saturday. They do an 80's remix night on Thursdays that is also fun.

Across from Hard Rock is Sopranos Piano Bar, in Arawak Gardens, along with Tango, Fishes n' More, Salt n Pepper, Burger King, & Casa Tua. They share an outside courtyard area that has live entertainment during dinner.

So, the short answer is probably that you should set sails for the general area of that block on Palm Beach, where nearly all of the above are located.

Thanks for the information!! I've been reading a lot on this forum and anothers Aruba's websites...

So the main area now it's on Plam Beach, it seems like the fun it's right there! I heard about another club named "Seven West", it looks nice and it's located on downtown... I'll probably go there. I'm gonna be on the island for 5 nights, so I will have to take advantage of all of them!! hehehe

Thanks again!!

1st Timer - Bar Recommendations

Hello,
My boyfriend and I will be traveling to Aruba for the 1st time March 1 - 8! We are very excited and have been looking forward to this for months. Are there any fun bars that you recommend to go to on specific nights specials and live music?

Thanks in advance

Moomba Beach is usually very lively on Sunday nights and a good blend of locals and tourists. It is also right on the beach and very convenient if you are in the Palm Beach area.

Lots of fun bars to go to: Moomba's, Bugaloe, Cafe Rembrandt, Soprano's, Cafe 080, Cafe Capri, Zissles, Upstairs Aruba.....

Moomba's, Bugaloe and Rembrandt have live music on specific nights.

Downtown there is Mambo Jambo, Cafe Chaos, Plaza Cafe, Garufa, and Cilo. Cilo, Garufa, and Chaos also have live music.

Zissles has a dinner show but after the show is over they have dancing and live music, too.
