Talking Playoff Hockey

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know where I could catch the Flyers playoff hockey games? I'm headin there for my honeymoon April 16th and my wife and I don't want to miss a game. We are staying at the Westin. Any place with Beer and the games on is acceptable in my book.

Thanks in advance.

Marriott has a sports bar/restaurant. Very nice, you can play pool, drink, eat and watch the games on tv. Plus it isn't too far from where you are staying. I'm not sure about the Westin, but if they have a betting parlor in the casino, then they probably will broadcast the game as well.

Hey maybe you'll get lucky, and the Flyers will drop out of that 8'th spot their in! Then you won't need to worry about it

The best place on the Island would have to be Champions at the Marriott! Pretty nice place and they will happily change the channels!

This is a question near and dear to my heart!! When in Aruba we have been trying for years to get Champions to put on a hockey game!! All we ever get is Football, football, football. Being Canadian we just love our hockey. Finally, this year we actually were able to get Champions to put on a hockey game. The only downfall for us is that "our team" has to be playing a US team and they have to be able to get the feed.
During our Xmas trip they actually advertised NHL night. We were bugging them all day if they were going to get the feed as our team was playing a US team. Well a few hours befor the puck dropped they gave us the . Well all 10 of us donned our Ottawa Senator t-shirts and watched the game!!

Good luck and enjoy! GO SENS GO!!!!

tough loss for Ottawa yesterday. 0-4 to the B's. They've had quite the roller coaster year!

Sorry to hear about "Only Football", I have always felt they were fairly accommodating! Next time I am in there I will request a Hockey game, maybe if we get a bunch of people to ask it will become the norm!!!

Yes, too bad about our SENS!! It has been quite the year. Most peopel are expecting an early playoff exit, so we will hope for next year!

About the hockey at Champions...when we went back in Feb. they advertised a hockey night as they did at Christmas but couldn't tell us until a few hours before who and what they were going to broadcast. Their feed comes from Peurto Rico not the US which is why they never seem to know what hockey game they can get. We watched the Senators vs. the Islanders because they could get the feed via New York. If they get more requests perhaps they might upgrade the satelitte service they get so they can acquire more NHL games. If you want to watch a hockey game and there is a football game on...FORGET IT!!!

Worst case scenario, you can always stream something on the internet, though that is never as much fun. Luckily I won't have the same problem, considering the Pens won't be playing in September. You never know, it might just be Pens and Flyers for one of the rounds!

There are a handful of sites that stream the game live online, so if you look they are out there, oh yeah GO FLYERS
