Radison Casino

Has anyone heard any "new" news about the casino mgt changing? I have read on the boards that the 10 year contract with the current management is up as of January 31, 2010 - any news about a new management company coming in to operate? Or how long they anticipate the casino being closed?

I am hoping not long as we used to frequent this casino often and always enjoyed getting a comped dinner at Sunset Grille thanks to all of our losings - better than just losing and getting nothing!

Any information is much appreciated! Thanks!

Anyone heard what is going on with the casino. Got an e-mail from one of girls we know who worked there and she said that it was going to court on the 19 of Jan.

i was told tonight at the BB party, that there has been a "stay" of 2 more months of same casino/management at the radisson.

dunno if that information is correct, but my source is a resident.

They received a 2 month extension but I hope The Rad has another management company in the wings. DH plays Texas Hold-Em there and really enjoys the people and management of the room but not so much the rest of the casino. I don't go there (I play mostly 3 card poker at The Alhambra and The Hyatt) as I don't like the way the management handles things. I have NEVER heard of changing a dealer every 5 - 10 minutes just because someone is winning.

I just returned from Aruba on Feb.21. I was having dinner at the Raddisson Laguna Buffet and I looked next door---guess what--- the casino is open! When I walked in, I told them that I cut up my player's card because of all the chatter on this Forum about the Jan 31 closure. The guy behind the cage looked at me like I was nuts!---- He said "Does this place look closed?"

at the end of the month there was notification that the casino would temporarily remain open.
