Re: Real Drinking Age?

The legal drinking age on the island is 16.

The legal age to enter a casino is 18, but it's unlikely you'll be carded or stopped from entering one.

I've read on other sites that the drinking age in Aruba is 18, I'm going to be 17 when I go and I don't think it'll be a problem but can you definetly say that the drinking age is 16?

The legal drinking and gambling age is 18, though it is not widely enforced.

Liz, the legal drinking age is 16 and the rest of your story is sad but true.

They do check in the casino if you don't look 18. My 16 year old went in and was asked for ID, he looks 16!

I'm not worried about the casino thing, i don't think I'd be much of a gambler, I'm going to be 17 when I go to Aruba, so I could probably get in if I wanted to with the fact they rarely card. I just was interested if i could go out to bars and stuff, I had a lot of fun visiting bars when i was in china awhile ago

I dont know who said the legal age was 16 for drinking but it is actually 18, and for gambling it is 18 too, for driving cars 18, and to enter night clubs it is 18 too. You MUST have 18 to enter clubs
