    Salsa on Aruba !

If you like salsa dancing, you should really come to Aruba, we have 2 dancing schools and Aruba Salsa even has it's own salsa club, called Hipsz!

If you are a beginner Aruba also offers a lot of free salsa workshops at hotels and everyday at the Palm island. I'm a salsa instructor on the island myself and my favourit workshop is at the Bugaloe bar on the Pier between the Riu and the Radisson! It's every wednesday at 20.30!

Hope you find this information usefull! xxxxx Sam

Back on my first trip to Aruba in 2002 on our first night there my friends and I went to Mambo Jambo which is where I first heard salsa music and viewed salsa dancing for the first time. Since then I took lessons and have been dancing ever since. I've taught salsa, performed and competed and I owe it all to the island of Aruba. There is nothing in this world like salsa music and dancing.

There isn't one place on the island that I don't like so hard to say what my favorite place is.

As completely uncoordinated that I am when it comes to dance, I will be giving it a try next Wednesday at the Bugaloe Beach Bar...and if that doesn't work out I can always turn to a drink or 2 or 3...or 10... hehehe
