As far as I know not. BUT you should have your hotel contact Oslin and Janice from Pachanga, they are the best. They were the WORLD CHAMPIONS a few years ago. I wish I had their number, sorry.

Hi Rico33,

There are some great spots where you can salsa!

Here are a couple of options for live bands and nightlife.
- Every Wednesday nights there is a live band at the Mambo Jambo (at the royal plaza, downtown) they play salsa, merengue and other latin music. It's really nice and some locals also go. On other nights they have deejays playing salsa and latin music.
- Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night there is a live band at Mr. Jazz (at the paseo herencia mall in front of the holiday inn) They also play latin music. Salsa, merengue and more.
- Every Friday and Saturday night there is a live band at Tropical Cafe. Some locals also go there. They play salsa, merengue and local music as well.
- Cafe Bahia is a nightclub where most of the time is visited by the locals. They might play some salsa, but hardly do.
- Every friday from 6:30 to 10:00 pm there's a great live band and happy hour at the Mill resort. It's great fun. The Mill is situated in front of the Westin resort. They also play salsa, merengue and more.

Salsa Greetings,

Reggie

Visiting hotel bars

I'm going to Aruba in July with friends and we are staying in a private villa. Do hotels allow outside guests to attend their happy hour?

Yes! Most hotels and resorts want you to come and enjoy their drinks, food and entertainment. It's more revenue for them and if you like the place you might stay there the next time or eat there the next time. That's one of the great reasons why the high rise hotel areas are connected from the back with a path that goes from one hotel to the other. You can walk in and enjoy the other resorts. Locals also go to happy hours from different hotels and enjoy a drink and dance. The Mill on friday nights has one of the most popular happy hours at all the resorts where even managers from other resorts go to the Mill to just relax and have a good time. It's 'One happy island"!

Ps. some hotels that are fully all inclusive will not allow outsiders to just come in if no payment for food and drinks is done first.

Salsa Greetings,

Reggie
