Senor Frogs Elevator??

I am going to vacation in Aruba for 2-weeks in January. I used to love going to Carlos and Charlies. Now that Carlos and Charlies is closed they moved upstairs to the left and is now named Senor Frogs. I am in a power wheelchair and I would like to know if there is an elevator to get upstairs to Senor Frogs? Can anyone tell me?

They had an escalator - dont recall an elevator, but then again I was intoxicated and not looking for one.

I only remember the esclator.

They don't have an elevator as far as I know. I will ask around and see what I can find out. As the others said I know they have an esclator.

Thanks for the replies. I had so much fun in Carlos and Charlies so many times it will just be sad if I cannot continue in Senor Frogs!! My power wheelchair could never go up an escalator.

We have been forwarded your question posted on our Virtual Concierge and we are more than happy to give you an answer.

In front of our establishment there are various ramps for wheelchairs leading up to the restaurant from the street. When you get to the lobby of Señor Frog's you will find at your right our Clothing store which does not have any steps making it easier for maneuvering a wheelchair if you would like to browse.

In the lobby you will find an electronic escalator leading up to the first floor where the restaurant and bar are situated. We sadly does not have an elevator, however we have previously entertained many guests with wheelchairs and they have not confronted any problems when visiting us.

As I was previously explaining we have an electronic escalator which is very wide with wide steps and which can accommodate a wheelchair easily. We have our staff who are standing by and who are delighted to be of assistance to you and your loved one in any way, either assisting you up the escalator or down when leaving.

Once you get to the first floor we have a ramp leading from the main floor to the seating area and from there to the bar. Also from the main floor there is easy access to the bathrooms.

We stress the point that we will be more than happy to assist you in any way to make your visit to Señor Frog's Aruba one to remember. We are extremely pleased for your interest in visiting our establishment and wish you a grand time on your vacation.

you "dun good" as far as getting information for glenndane.

my dad and mom both were on crutches and had leg braces (polio) and the thing that scared them the most was escalators!

i hope that glenn does make contact with the senor frogs staff and work out a plan.

Thank you for getting the information I needed Bill!! I love the response from the staff and it does truly show the kindhearted people that make Aruba so special. I am not sure if I will venture up the escalator or not. I have so many other things I enjoy in Aruba when I visit. I cannot wait for January!!!
