Can anyone recommend a Sport's Bar in or near downtown Oranjestad? I only know of such bars in the high-rise area.

Sorry Rob, all I got besides Champions is Mulligans at the Divi. Maybe another business opportunity. Arubian sports pub.

Rob they play sports right at the pool bar, I think that's as good as we are going to get without hopping a cab. We are gettin close my friend!!

Liz you are the best! I forgot about that place. There is a brief video of it is on SanNic44 the great writer and video Kings web site and it looks pretty good.

I will check it out and put it in our "post Aruba" report.

Unfortunately...I haven't been able to find a bar where I can watch sports and walk back to the Renaissance. Oh well....I don't go to Aruba to watch TV anyway.

Although not downtown, I would suggest the new BUSTER'S GARAGE, located near Hard Rock and across the street from Sopranos. They have something like 25 wide screen HD flat screens, with Hans and Rusty on the bar and Dany (from Salt n Pepper) serving the tables. You can sit inside or outside, and enjoy good bar food and great beverage service.

That's my top pick for watching sporting events.
