TROPICANA CASINO formerly known as Key Largo Casino

I wondered if the Key Largo Casino recieved it's license and is now open for business? I know we were waiting for that as of January. Anyone been there to see it lately?

Was at the new restaurant "Mamuri's" at the Key Largo Casino" last week and the casino is still not open. As to when it will open, it depends on who you ask.

For the sake of the casino workers, I hope it's soon.

nope.
if things were moving any more slowly with that casino, the resort itself and with the gutted casino they'd be moving backwards.

tropicana casino (formerly called key largo) has not opened. unsure of why the delay, i was told permits needed to be issued, but that was back in mid august.

lacabana casino, in the former location of captain table restaurant, construction/renovation has begun. the prep work had just begun in mid august.

We were hoping for January too. It's too convenient (walking distance) and the price is right.
