Is the casino open upstairs at the Lacabana?

negative on that bill.
also a big negative on the one at the tropicana.

the one at lacabana, is slated to open sometime in the winter.
it is going to be in the "old captains table space" on the main floor.

the one at tropicana "was" slated to open this past september.
i do not know the reason for delay.
my contact person tells me it is still closed.

the one at lacabana will definitely NOT be open in November.

they had just begun work on the space in late August. WIillie Mosconi, the board president told me that he was hoping for christmas 2011, but he was being overloy optimistic. He said realistically it would be winter 2012.

As owner at the Trop Bill, do they have an "official website" with "news"?

I'm an owner also. Last I heard was December. They are great at PR, tell you only what they want you to know. Newsletters are reviewed and posted by Las Vegas, therefore a 3 week delay.

Went to Marmur's today. We were told the Key Largo Casino will be opening on December 11, 2011. Of course, this is Aruba...wait and see.

it will be opening in december, they have a great new casino manager.
wilfred trimon, who ran the occidental for many, many years. wilfred will turn that casino around. very sad when wilfred left, great guy...
