Hello! I am getting married at the end of this month and need to plan some events. I am thinking on Friday night to go out to a club or a bar with music in downtown (staying at the Ren). Any recommendations? So far on my list are Senor Frog's, Mambo Jambo and Carlos and Charlie's.
What do you all think?

palm beach is a 10 minute bus or taxi ride away
i am sure you will find your way there.......it seems to be the "happening area" these days.
Superyooch - Carlos and Charlies no longer exists downtown and Senor frogs moved up to Palm beach across from the Radisson.

hmmm....it would be hard to get most of the guest up to the high rise area....what about Mambo Jambo?
What's wrong with a good ol' fashioned keg of beer on the beach and some jammin' CD's? But we'll need pictures of the wet t-shirt contest too. Smiles and fun.
Check out Club Chaos right across the main road from the Ren. Great bands! Dutch crowd.

We had a welcome mixer the night before our wedding at CILO- on the Ren resort. We reserved the side(outside of the restaurant) and our guests had a great time. They usually have live entertainment every evening. The food is excellent there.. I think my mother eat there every day for the rest of her trip!
My guests went bar hopping all over the island... particularly the hi rise section. I know they mentioned going to Senor Frogs. Rain Nightclub was just opened in downtown... not sure where though
there lots of clubs at the south beach mall
