Never been a big fan of their fries, they always taste burned to me. The burgers aren't bad, but I don't understand the hype they get around here. While they're better than McDonalds, it's not like we're talking about an In N Out Burger here.

in N out and fat burger are not known on the east coast so 5 guys is the closest to them. there can't be more than 10 fat burger shops in the east. we actually have one of the few in columbia maryland. we went there and their burgers are the same great things as on the west coast.

i do suppose it's a matter of taste though. i have friends out west that are jealous because we have five guys here. btw, if their fries taste burned then the store is failing at its job. but compared to typical fast food, they are several steps up.

yes indeed sherry, so for those on the east coast in and out and fat burgers are a "mystery".

i bet the arubans will LOVE their "5 guys" as it puts wendys and mcdonalds and bk to shame.
the arubans as well as the tourists will keep this place hoppin'!

there are a bunch near me outside phila and they have the best burgers and fries..if you put in your zip in the store locator field on their website you can find all the stores closest to where you live..I never realized how many locations they have..for a quick bite they are going to get alot of business..

We have a Five Guys about 3 miles from my house. I have never been there because I don't eat meat, but I thought it was a little local place. I had no idea it was even a chain!

Nice Eagles shirt, Scott. I can't wait to wear my PHILLIES gear!!!!!
