    Thumbs up

Visited Five Guys last night - had a great meal! Generous portions filled us up. Four of us had burgers and fries - nice fresh buns, assortment of free toppings, delicious burgers! Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Great place for a quick meal...will definitely go back!

A menu is thumbnailed below with prices (those are in US dollars so welcome to Aruba).

I think everything about this place has been covered in this thread already - great burgers (they also sell Nathan's Famous hot dogs), fresh made buns, handcut french fries, great toppings, free refills on fountain drinks all in a super clean burger shop with outside seating. They are located at The Village at Palm Beach (free parking) behind Senor Frogs (across from The Radisson).

We ate there Wed 6/15 for lunch and it was excellent! Note that a large french fries feeds three to four people so don't go crazy with the fries ordering

By the 19th, when this photo was taken, it had become "5 burgers"

If a franchise does not own internationational franchise or copyrights to business you can open under name without any civil or legal consequence. Sopranos as an example has no legal nexus to tv show.

In March 2011 we went to 5 guys and loved it. We met the owner there who told us he bought the franchise rights to the Caribbean and was planning on opening in Curacao as well.

Upon our return this December we found 5 Guys had become 5 Burgers?? We asked the employees about this and was told that the franchise only allowed them to serve hamburgers and fries, no onion rings and no beer so since they wanted to sell these items they parted ways.

Does this make any sense to anyone? Does anyone know the "real" story?
happiness is going to Aruba with your adult kids because they still want to come with their parents

I do not know the real story, but a franchiser can dictate the terms of the contract. Our local 5 Guys here in Georgia do not sell alcohol or onion rings. The story sounds "logical".
