I love to go to TDB and I am SUCH a creature of habit. I have found only 2 meat items I really really like so that is what I eat. There is one gaucho who knows I like my picana very very rare and he always makes sure I have it that way. We use all our coupons. I'm sure they'll come out with another one.

Salad bar is good.... very well displayed.

The white rice and beans are good and authentic...

I disliked more meat than not, but that's no big deal.... I just found a few types I liked and kept to those...

Good thing about this place though is the meat was never charred as I've found at similar restaurants... you can get get med/med rare all night long...

Even with the coupon dinner for the 2 of us was around $70... no alcohol either.

How much is the meal normally? I thought around $40-$45 which does not make sense if $35 is the half price special? I was expecting around $45 total plus wine. Is the coupon legitimate or do they have exclusions??

There were no exclusions on the coupon- its good for 50% OFF A meal. Not drinks.

Our meal with the coupon was 89.00 (no alcohol but ordered sodas which are not free refills)

1 meal is 49.00 per person plus the taxes and gratutity.

Just an FYI...I've used the birthday coupon in the past (one free dinner) and, yes, your bill will STILL be high. I have another birthday coupon for our upcoming trip in a couple of weeks but we probably won't use it - just too expensive and the novelty has worn off (plus, I just can't eat that much to justify the cost.) We also got hit with a bill for a pitcher of Sangria at $44. Yes, $44 for a pitcher of Sangria (which contained alot of ice.) Personally, I'd rather spend my money at Passions, Sreaming Eagle, or MJ's or.....a ton of other places.
