Thanks Arubalisa for the info on the Music festival on the 10th of Oct. I am unable to find when the festivities start. If you also know this it would also be appreciated. Thanks again. You seem to be the go to person for info.

This is how it worked last year - If you select the transportation option a DePalm bus will pick you up at your hotel around 5:00 and get you to the event. I believe it starts around 7:00 p.m. and then you board the bus after the show and they will bring you back to your hotel.

We are headed to the Aruba Music Festival this year for the first time. However, we thought it was a classic rock festival, no? Since we've never been to this festival, I do have a few questions:

1. I realize the line-up is set, but will there be any additional smaller acts performing? Or, is it just the two on Friday and EW&F on Saturday?

2. Is there any grass seating available? Or, is it all actual seats?

Thanks!

I can only speak to what happened last year. There was a band that played for a short while before REO Speedwagon's show started. REO played for quite a while. No other acts performing.

REO Speedwagon was on Friday and Gloria Estefan played Saturday.

No grass seating. Folding chairs in front of the stage and bleachers in the back.

It was a lot of fun.

We are also wanting to go this year to the Aruba Music Festival. Do you have to purchase tickets in advance. Or can you get them at the gate? We are hoping to get them in Aruba when we get there. Thanks for any reply.

We purchased ours ahead of time to make sure we got tickets. You can purchase them from DePalm or inquire at the front desk when you arrive. No guarantees that you will get a ticket. Good Luck and have fun!
