AMADEUS Fri Aug 19

AMADEUS never disappoints us.
Terrific food, service, presentation and pricing.

We each had a small caesar salad and Paul had ribs with mashed taters, zucchini and yellow squash medley.
I had chicken schnitzel with spaetsel(SP?) and zucchini medley.

After dinner cordial "lost symphony" and boy that went down nice!

No room for dessert, but thinking of going over one evening next week for protiferoles (SP?) and coffee.

AMADEUS is excellent, 2 thumbs up.

Hi Andrea I went to Amadeus on August 11th for the first time and it was fantastic I had the beef dish I can't remenber the name and it was very good but my wife had the weinier schnitzel (I hope the spelling is correct) and it is by far the best I have ever had. We met one of the owners he was very nice. I will be going back to Amadeus's when I go back to Aruba. Dick.

Andrea,
We concur. Amadeus was great and the Lost Symphony liqueur is a great nightcap. You've got to save room for the Strawberry dessert!

To get to Amadeus, take the 1A until you get to the corner with the Texaco Station on one side and bowling alley on the other. If coming from the low rise hotels, turn right, if coming from the high rise hotels, turn left. It's about 3/4 of a mile up the road on your right. Very easy to find!

my addition to your directions is that it might be more than 3/4 mile past that "hunny punny" rotary.

My internet search for the Hunny Punny store did not reveal what they sell. All I could find were multiple references to the "Hunny Punny Roundabout" when people were giving directions. I have to think you're right, that it's a childrens' store of some kind. Next time, on the way to Amadeus, we'll have to check it out.

the aruban love the american stuff and the americans and other tourists love the "local flavor"
