has anyone heard of a restaurant called anna maria and would they recemend it

I inquired about it from a poster who wrote a trip report and mentioned it on another bb (I believe it was from ahfahvoot.... now goes by the name "arubamikey"). He replied with:

"It's a new place, many of the cab drivers don't even know about it yet. It's in Noord, over by the Caribbean Palm Village. It is actually someone's house. When you get there, you have to ring the buzzer and a member of the staff comes out and opens the gate and leads you around back.

It's not too large - about 10 - 15 tables, outside on the patio. The owner's wife was doing the cooking. While the menu is pretty large, they don't have everything every night - so what they have is fresh and prepared to order.

The portions were not huge, but just the right size to satisfy our appetite. I had rabbit and my wife had seafood over pasta with white sauce. We were both very happy with our meals.

Prices are comparable with other restaurants."

My husband and I were the first tourists to visit this restaurant in October. We met the husband Christian in front of the Hyatt handing out business cards. We went for dinner in their lovely home in the vicinity of the Caribbean Palm Village. It was a most beautiful setting, and the dinner was delicious. Good prices also. We are returning to Aruba in a couple of weeks, and i hope to celebrate my birthday there! Wonderful place!

Friends went last Friday and loved it.....they thought best meal they had. It will take you about 1.5 -2 hrs for dinner.
