    Arubaville

We've been to about 80% of the restaurants in Aruba. Tonight we visited a new one. Arubaville never quite made our list but tonight it did.

It's a $50 cab ride rd. trip from high rise area, which isn't cheap. That had to be factored into our recommendation or not.

We throughly enjoyed the ambience, service and food and are delighted to recommend it. Location is incredible,.sunset spectacular..

Rob had mahi mahi crusted in Parm cheese. I had grouper, mahi mahi and shrimp over risotto with creole sauce. For appetizers we had watermelon and goat cheese salad. We finished our meal with apple strudel and white choc/ dark choc mousse with graham cracker crust and ice cream ( served in a jar).

    Would be happy to return.

Is that $50 cab ride, round trip? I could deal with it if the food was good, but one way, probably not.

The restaurant is located kind of behind the airport. For those who know the old Mirandi's that's the place.
    kind of rustic/ tropical atmosphere
    lots of great seating areas
The food is much finer than the location looks like it should serve( if that makes any sence)
i would recommend going when you rent a car
The cab was $50 rd trip
However it was on our bucket list
Probably should have waited till we were staying at Renn or had a rental
Ah, what the heck, we went!!❤️

after speaking to rob last night and seeing the photos that cindy posted today, it is now on our list.

paul and i were there in may, but only stopped for a drink.

    it is very casual.

We've been there a couple of times. Once when they first opened and were serving food during the day. The second time we went back for lunch and found out that they had just changed their food service to evening only, so don't go there hungry during the day. It's a charming tropical environment. Not as lively as Bugaloe, but has ample seating and a decent size bar. Their Balashi bucket deal runs all day every day, and is priced well. Their website say's it all.
