    Arubaville

We are heading to Aruba on January 30th. We have never been to Arubaville but have looked at the menu and are considering it. We will have a car and understand it is just beyond the airport.

We aren't picky eaters. I don't mind paying a little more for great service, great food and a nice setting.

Has as anyone eaten here lately? Any suggestions on a favorite meal?

    Omg we loved that place
arrived, looked around and though , " oh no, it's like a Jimmy Buffet place". We were so wrong
We were delighted with our meal, setting and service.
i had a dish that had 3 types of seafood; grouper, shrimp and something else. Let's just say it was fantastic.
Go b4 sunset to get the full effect of the setting.
    Win win!

So glad you liked it. I will share it with some of the other couples we are traveling with and see if we can plan a night there. Do we need reservations or can we walk in?

You can get great food on Aruba at many places. Service is a little less desirable. You have to remember that Aruba was a Dutch Island for hundreds of years and the service there is sort of European/island fusion. In other words no hurry, no worry. Just remember when eating out there that they are on Island time and you should be too.

Arubabob, you are right about island time but its something I enjoy. there should be no rushing to get thru you vacation in Aruba, just sit back and relax. We had one of the longest "simple" meals of our life last trip and we enjoyed every minute. Our waiter felt bad but he was the only one...we had a great view, drinks and our son was behaving despite the long meal, all good

Sorry if you misunderstood. I am not new to Aruba. I have been traveling there since the old Bushiri days but have never made it to Arubaville restaurant. I have no complains about Aruba time. I am on vacation and will savior every minute.
