    unfortunately the white asparagus is only available in May

    That is interesting. I guess it makes sense that the absence of sun would mean no color.

    The white asparagus at MJs is my favorite especially paired with the almond grouper

    I know!! They haven't posted the menu so it will be a surprise!! I thought about trying that almond grouper but my gosh in the photos I saw it looks like an entire fish!! Trying to figure out what I can order and still have room for dessert!

    paul and i have shared the grouper a few times.
    ex:we ordered bang bang shrimp for an appetizer, then for dinner Me: a large caesar salad with chicken and Paul: almond encrusted grouper dinner and shared both.
    we may do that tomorrow evening. it leaves a "bit" of room for dessert. however i still like the idea of "eat dessert first"
