    Thumbs up Barefoot

Just ate at Barefoot the first week of May - it was the best meal of the trip and reasonably priced (4 of us - between us we had 4 meals, 8 specialty drinks, 2 apps, 2 desserts, and 4 irish coffees for about $200). We all had different meals and loved everything, and portions were generous. This was also the most attentive service we had all week. One thing to note - we chose beach dining - I wouldn't recommend that - much nicer atmosphere up under the large Palapa. There is no shade, just tables in the blazing sun and the beach is right on top of Nikky Beach on one side and public beach on the other, so it's kind of wierd sitting out there trying to have a nice meal in the middle of all that going on. When we go again (and we definitely will!), we will sit under palapa - still beautiful views of sunset and without all the activity in such close proximity.

I def recommend a trip to Barefoot. Enjoy!

We just ate there and it was a wonderful and delicious meal. We didnt care for our waiter, he was a bit rude. When I finished my plate, he said WOW, I guess u were really hungry, and he seemed very upset that we didnt order drinks-we typically dont order alcohol with our meals. My Brother thought he was very rude and didnt want to go back because of it, I would go back because the food was wonderful. The service-refills and pleasantry of the rest of the staff was fine

We feel Barefoot is a must do every year. Great setting (I agree, eat under the palapa), great service, and most importantly for me, GREAT FOOD! Our waitress, Leoni, was outstanding. The grouper chef special was awesome. Definitely will be back in November, maybe more than once!

We have a reservation at Barefoot in July and really looking forward to it. Has anyone eaten at Papaimentos recently? We have skipped this the past few years and i'm wondering if it's worth going back to.

Yes, we eat there every year. It is still one of my favorites. We ate there last August. Food was great as well as the service and atmosphere.

Papiamentos has always been our favorite restaurant, going twice each visit! Didn't make it to Aruba this year, but really enjoyed our meals there last year!

For me, Papiamento, Barefoot and Marandi are my top three restaurants in that order. Always happy with the quality, food, service and value. Can't go wrong with any of these three in my opinion.
