Bavaria

This is a great place to stop for a beer, especially during happy hour 5-630 when you can get a LITER of ice cold Balashi for 3.25. It is a great stop before watching the sunset. They are located right by Wendys and the staff is very friendly

Does anyone know how the actual food is? My hubby wanted to try it out last time we were in Aruba but we never got around to it. We'll be back again for 2 weeks in late March/April.

We went there last night for happy hour. Drank Balashis and shared an order of potato pancakes which were very good. We plan on going back for dinner one night.

Is this also a "kid friendly" place if we took my almost 4 year old there for dinner one night?

Bavaria Restaurant, video

I have to thank Cosmo (Craig) for recommending Bavaria to me. This German restaurant is located on the other side of the highway from the high-rise area, in the little strip of places by the Wendy's. (Skip the fast food!) At Bavaria you'll find all the German favorites and this comfort food will hit the spot. They have potato soup, pretzels, and bratwurst, all of which I've tried now during two separate visits. Food is tasty and filling, service is friendly and on the ball. Here's a short video of my last visit.

Dig that zany decor, eh? And how about those giant beers? If you're looking for something different during your next visit to Aruba, Bavaria definitely fits the bill in a reasonably priced way. Give it a try.

I'm so glad you stopped by Bavaria, the place is great, they are so nice there, and the food and drink are very good and reasonably priced. This is my favorite pre-sunset happy hour stop.
