    Beer

Been two years since last trip. Through the years, I have become a huge beer snob. With the popularity of Craft beer in the US just not very fond of pilsners and lagers. Any chance craft beers are available anywhere in Aruba. A couple examples might be Sierra Nevada, Founders, Stone, Dogfish, Troegs, Victory, etc.

The beer selection in Aruba is a vast wasteland. In addition to Balashi, the local beer, Dutch beer - Amstel and Heineken, and a selection of Budweisers. Light beers are in the majority.

In 2012 there was Sam Adams for our February visit and I was pleased but this year that was gone.

I solved the problem by buying rum and fruit juices.

SwagMaster - I feel your pain. Read my link to feel my pain as well. There is nothing like us beer efficienado's would consider "craft". I was going to bring it in, but the hassle is brutal in my mind. I finally started to hit the Red Stripe. It has a bit of a bite. I am a huge IPA drinker and any non-hop is not good to me.

I wish someone with $$$$ would open a brewpub with some imported US craft beer.

Me too, big hop head and home brewer. So you understand going from Hop Slam to Balashi is quite a jump.

Any investor want to open a brewpub?
