    Best Italian food

OK - I'm kinda picky my wife makes her Sunday gravy every week so I'm kinda spoiled. We have been to a few places and was wondering what some of your opinions are. Maybe more on the vodka sauce, eggplant dishes kinda places. I do have Terraza Italiano on my list. Suggestions?

i too am pretty picky re: pasta sauce. i make my own by the gallon and freeze it and bring some to Aruba.
we have had OK (just ok) dinners at Sole Mare.

many rave about Azzuro.....we have not tired it.

i rave about the sauces of Pizza N More (in orange plaza near Red Fish) and the same owner/chef also runs a fairly new italian place upstairs at Paradise Beach Villas...LeTerazza Italiana.

my all time favorite (it is now closed) was the italian restaurant next to where the red hog saloon once stood.
holy cow they had wonderful chicken parm and chicken cacciatore.

Azzuro was very good when we ate there a few years back. I am not sure why we have not returned.

I read a good review of Altomar, relatively new restaurant in Palm Beach across the street from Playa Linda. We have never been, but could be worth checking out the menu.

I am just a Polish/German girl from the Midwest, so I may not know true good gravy, but I love love love Sole Mare's Vodka Sauce! DH loves their Osso boco.

Some regions of Italy call it gravy.

I wonder what they call the brown stuff on turkey and roast beef? Okay, I Google'd it and, disturbingly, there's a whole book entitled "Gravy Wars":

To keep it Aruba-centric, I wonder what the locals call pasta sauce...?
