Brown Lady Drink- where's the best?
Our third trip is coming in less than a week and I've never heard of a brown lady before I saw it while surfing this board last week. The drink sounds delicious. Now I can't locate that thread.
Where's the best place to try our first one? |

so, maybe Mandm should go on a Brown lady taste testing SPREE.
and i certainly do not mean go on a bar crawl and taste all the brown ladys on island during a single afternoon/evening.......................or do i ??!!! ;-) that would be one major ice/brain freeze headache wouldn't it??? wonder just how many calories are in the brown lady? aruba grand outside bar (rip) used to have fabulous brown ladys. |

Angelone,
How do you make your Brown Ladies? I made up a recipe this fall and it tasted pretty good: Kahlua 3 oz, Baileys 3 oz, Coconut Rum 3 oz, and ice , put in blender, pour and drink. I know I was missing Ponche Cream. Not sure what else I should be using. Oops I forgot to say that after 4 of these and you try to do a summersault in the pool you might be dizzy or feel really drunk... That is what happened to one of my friends in the Outerbanks this fall. Thanks, Jill ![]() |

While I am unsure of the correct calorie count of a Brown Lady... I can say with certainty I gained 10.8 pounds our last trip 18 Sept - 27 Sept. I drink 2 every morning at Matthews after my early morning swim ( 1st to be served thank you!) and with numerous Happy Hours through out the day... I loose count by 3:00 PM.
The Mill Resort Pool Bar offers nice ones also. And if you happen to stop by Smokey Joe's request to be seated in Manuelo's area and tell him Ginny & Pete sent you for a Brown Lady. He is a waiter there but was one of my first Bartenders years past at Matthews and will fix you right up! Darn... after 28 days being back home I thought I was over this craving ... now I am thirsty again and must wait 11 months.... |
