The Buccaneer is my most favorite place to be and eat in the whole world. I've dined there for 28 years now since it opened, and it just keeps on getting better. The atmosphere with its incredible underwater cavern filled with Aruba's tropical fish surpasses all others.
My favorite Bartender Roy makes the best drinks I've ever had. The cuisine, thanks to Chef Franklin along with his daily specials just melts in your mouth, from the fresh fish dishes to the best steak dishes on the island. And the prices cannot be beat! The Buccaneer is my home away from home, thanks to Vasty, Becky and Roy and this "Coconut Lady" counts the days each year until going back to my Buccaneer Heaven. |

I too have been going to the Buccaneer for many years. I always get the baracuda, and I have never been disappointed with it. I have heard many people on this site say the food here is terrible, but I have never experienced a bad meal at the Buccaneer. As you said, the pricing is also very reasonable.

I too, in the 28 years have never had a bad meal there. Just came back from there a week ago and unfortunately The Buccanneer isn't opened 7 days a week, they're closed on Sunday so since staying at the Marriott decided to try Ruth's Steak House. The food was awful and it was very expensive!
