    Byob restaurants

Are there any BYOB restaurants in Aruba? If so, do they charge a corking fee?

    Thanks in advance,

Most (just like in the U.S.) will charge a corkage fee anywhere from $10-$20 depending on the restaurant.

Except in NJ - where more restaurants than not are BYOB and there is no corking fee.

When my wife and I were still dating I took her to a Mexican restaurant in NJ. Being from NY she was unfamiliar with the BYO policy of the state. I handed her a six pack of Sierra Nevada and asked her to carry them in. She got all concerned and antsy. She thought I needed her to sneak the brews in....quite a funny experience.

I'm sure all of the nicer restaurants offer a corkage fee - it's a common practice. I've only inquired at MJ's and Passions - both have a corkage fee if you wish to bring your own bottle of wine or champagne.

Just call or email whatever restaurant you're interested in and ask them.
