Big difference with the flavor of warm water lobster compared to the icy cold water lobster of the North Atlantic. Caribbean lobster is good, but Maine lobster is absolutely fantastic. Understand..... I live close to Cape Cod.....so it's not like I'm never able to get fresh Maine lobster.

I have to agree that if you have access to Maine/Canadian lobster, Carribean isn't going to cut it. It just doesn't have that wonderful taste and it is incredibly overpriced on the island.

Now that is what im talking about here in Oklahoma. Lobster(they call it austrailian lobster tail) costs the same here as it does in Aruba. Even the New England lobster costs $40-$50. They call it market price on the menu, but I call it marked up price. Steaks on the other hand are quite reasonable.

Frankly, given the choice..... I'd much rather have Aruban lobster in Aruba than Maine lobster in Maine!

I'd have to be in Aruba for that!
