    Aruba’s Famous 59TH Grand Parade – The annual carnival festivities culminate with the grand carnival parade, which always falls the Sunday before Ash Wednesday. Aruba’s main event starts at 11 a.m. in Oranjestad and continues into the evening in the streets of the city.

    January:
    22, Tuesday — Calypso & Roadmarch Contest Pre-Finals @ 7:30 p.m

    23, Wednesday — Calypso & Roadmarch Contest Pre-Finals @ 7:30 p.m

    24, Thursday — Calypso & Roadmarch Contest Pre-Finals @ 7:30 p.m

    25, Friday — Aruba’s 59th Carnaval Queen Election & Show @ 8:00 p.m

    26, Saturday — Calypso & Roadmarch Contest Grand FINAL @ 7:30 p.m

    27, Sunday — Aruba Children Parade in San Nicolas @ 1:00 p.m

    30, Wednesday — Aruba’s 19th Mrs. Carnaval competition in Oranjestad @ 7:00 p.m

    31, Thursday — Hebbe Hebbe Heineken Concert in Oranjestad @ 8:00 p.m

    02, Saturday — 48th Noord Children Parade in Noord @ 1:00 p.m

    02, Saturday — Aruba Tivoli Lighting Parade in Oranjestad @ 8:00 p.m

    03, Sunday — Aruba Big Children Parade in Oranjestad @ 1:00 p.m



    06, Wednesday — Tourist Night Steelband and Costume Show @ 8:00 p.m

    07, Thursday — San Nicolas Lighting Parade in San Nicolas @ 8:00 p.m

    08, Friday — Balashi Ban Djo Djo Party in Talk of the Town Parking @ 8:00 p.m

    09, Saturday — Jouvert Morning Pajamas Parade in San Nicolas @ 4:00 a.m

    09, BIG SATURDAY — Aruba Carnival Parade in San Nicolas @ 1:00 p.m

    09, Saturday — Street cruising the Route on the “Night Before” in Oranjestad @ 8:00 p.m

    10, BIG SUNDAY — Aruba BIG CARNAVAL 59 PARADE in Oranjestad @ 11:00 a.m

    11, Monday — Parade and Burning of Momito saying goodbye in San Nicolas @ 6:00 p.m

    12, Tuesday — Last Farewell Carnaval Street Party and Parade in Oranjestad @ 8:00 p.m

    12, Tuesday — Street Party ends with Burning of King Momo saying goodbye @ 11:59 p.m.

    Wheeeeee!! I'll be there 27 January -- 10 February, so it looks like I'll have a whole lot to see!!

    remember...........
    traffic and congestion downtown during carnival events will be HEAVY.
    plan to go early to any of the carnival events!

    I can't wait for this. Heard so much about it on my first two trips to Aruba!
    We will be there 2/4-2/18!
