Work delayed
Actually, work on the boulevard on either side of the intersection with Weststraat already started. "We have postponed for various reasons," said DOW Director Figaroa. "What was announced is that that road would be closed completely." The Minister for Infrastructure, Minister Benny Sevinger (AVP), when, according Figaroa has said: "No, we should think of alternatives." The director says there are two options on the table. The first option is to the road in two sections to close. The part of the promenade from the North Weststraat direction and the part before. Another option is to first carry out work on one side of the road and the road free for movement in the other direction and then vice versa.

How the road is also closed, after the work done, it is impossible Figaroa according to a carnival on the esplanade let go. "In the middle is a box with trees and plants. The carnival route would be changed. "The director said that the work will not begin until there are good alternative ways to the destinations along the route to reach. "But we hope within two to three weeks it started to go."

....

Too bad the Renaissance Marina was such a great place to watch the carnival.
Being able to drink, eat and swim at the same time plus the bathrooms nearby was such a big plus...
