    Casino food specials?

    Hi all
My wife and I will be celebrating our 30th in November by taking our first trip to Aruba! I have already gathered lots of good info from the forum...thanks to all.
I was wondering if any of the casinos have food/drink specials that you may know of.
    Thanks

Hi, welcome to the forum. Interesting question. I don’t recall ever seeing any dining specials advertised by the casinos. Drinks are free when you are playing, whether at the slots or the tables. For an anniversary evening I would probably head to one of the higher end hotels have dinner there and then head to the casino. The Ritz has some nice restaurants. Their new restaurant Casa Nonna is getting wonderful reviews. For one of our anniversaries we were downtown so we had dinner at Yemanja and then walked over to the Crystal for awhile and then the Seaport. It was a fun evening.

Welcome to the Aruba.com Community Forum!!

I'm not sure many of the casinos have food options. The only ones I can think of are Tropicana's Double Down Sports Bar and Alhambra Casino's Cove Restaurant

Welcome to the forum! There are wonderful options for dinners close to casinos, but the casinos themselves don't have food specials that I know of. Has anyone ever been comped a meal by a casino in Aruba?

welcome to the aruba.com community forum Ohio

adding to what others have said.. the Marriott Casino lets you accumulate player's points.
those points can be used in the properties restaurants towards dinner.
the points also can be used in other ways on property too.

Unlike Puerto Rico and some other locations there is NO food in the casinos. The Hilton did it a bit a couple of years ago in the poker room but that was short lived. The drinks are free as Peg mentioned as long as you play.

The only place I have ever received "free" stuff is in Vegas. I gambled at the Flamingo back in the day and they would give me free rooms as long as I gambled daily there.

my husband just reminded me that often times at the crystal casino (downtown) they come around with platter of sandwiches and other little things.
we were there one late afternoon prior to dinner at the now closed "Rumba".
we filled up at the casino and when we got to Rumba we barely touched our dinners.

Funny. I have enough for a reasonable dinner right now. My balance is just shy of $150. I had to show my passport today as my previous ID expired and they would not allow me to earn any points for my play last night. The manager did say if I saw him tonight he would give me credit for my losses last night.
