I have previously read about two restaurants that sounded great to try that were down the street from the Renaissance near the water. I saved the names on my computer, but my computer crashed and I lost the information. Does anyone know of two casual restaurants in that area? I believe one is upstairs of a building?

i am not sure what someone else might have mentioned but in that area are The Paddock (right on the water), Iguana Joes, Mambo Jambo (both upstairs at the mall) there are several other places in all price ranges of course downtown. (Little Caesars, Burger King, Petite Cafe etc etc)

When we're downtown for lunch we usually go to Rumba or The Plaza Cafe (Dutch pub.)

Sorry for the confusion but the restaurants were small local restuarants past Paddock (opposite of Joes'). We are familiar with the area, but never heard of the restaurants in this strip area I believe past the casino on the water???

Rumba and The Plaza Cafe are small, local restaurants. Rumba is located behind the Renaissance's Marina Tower and The Plaza Cafe is between the casino and the Ren's beach towers (near where Tessa the Tiger used to be.)

Not exactly sure which restaurants you are referring to since there are so many in that area.

I found out the restaurant I was searching for it is called LaTerraza on the 2nd flood of the Marina Mall. I have never been there but heard it is good?

Sadly, La Terraza has closed.
