Re: Chalet Suisse

Gary, where else besides ElGaucho do you think is a nice place to eat? Good food and service. Someplace that is upscale.
Buy the way certainly you remember, what did you order at Chalet Suisse?

Re: Chalet Suisse

Very nice restaurant and food is very good. My husband likes the early bird special at Tango's. Rumbas in town is also very good for lunch or dinner- very good desserts.

Re: Chalet Suisse

For the record, all you losers who attacked me, it was not me. It was little mikey acting jealous again as he can't stand the fact I can be helpful on this board vs he has absolutely nothing positive to add. But to answer your questions. Yes I do like El Gaucho very much. As far as upscale places I have been, I consider Le Dome, Chez Mathilde, Valentino's, Madame Janette, and Avallon's. Chalet Suisse is one i haven't gotten around to yet. Other good restaurants we have tried but not as upscale: Ventanas del Mar,La Trattoria El Faro Blanco,Le Petite Cafe, Buccaneer, Rio steakhouse, Brisas Del Mar,Papiamento, Tuscany, The French Steak House(tried 3 times and was never good, so gave up on that place), Sunset Grille, Sunset Bistro and Hosteria da Vittorio. Then of course the regular places such and C&C's, Iguana Joes, Smokey Joes and Charlies Bar.

Re: Chalet Suisse

I think there should be a place for some of the people who post here to get a good dose of "Anger Management". I can't believe how rude and annoying some people are on these boards.
The interesting part to me, also, is that many seem to be imposters.....too rude to even use their own REAL names!
In a nutshell, they're rubes.
Give all of us who are looking for INFORMATION a break and take your anger to a therapist.
