I have been to both restaurants. Chalet Suise is very good. I usually eat there twice during my 2 week stay. The Italian restaurant at the Playa Linda is OK, but not great. I have only eaten there once (last year), and I will probably not return again, not because it is bad, but because there are so many other fine restaurants.

Thanks For The Info On The Chalet Place, Looking For Menu. I Think I Remember Reading Not To Good Reviews On The Other Place As Well, I Currently Have A Reservation For Giannis' ( Think I Will Stick With That ), Heard Good Things About That Place. |

Chalet Suisse and Italian Restaurant at Costa Linda
We just returned from Aruba and had dinner at Chalet Suisse and Gianni's. Had delicious meals at both restaurants. My husband is diabetic and Italian food (the red sauce) is not really good for a diabetic. However, he loved his dinner at Gianni's and his blood sugar level was normal in the morning. We visit Aruba several times a year and always have a great dinner at Chalet Suisse. Enjoy

I only know what I hear...my relatives went to Gainni's, and loved it. The only problem, which really T'ed them off was they ordered a salad, and the waiter asked if they would like shrimp on it. Yes, they said, and it ended up being like 40.00 more than expected. They felt taken. Will they go back, I don't know.
