I am going to Aruba 5/8 - 5/22 and bought the book to read while I am there, and then I will go again to Charlie's Bar. Went there last year and had a lot of fun.

SanNic44, we went to Charlies and had a great time. Talked with Luis a long time and we just missed Sam. I will post my pictures on the gallery when I unpack...ugh! My husband just finished An Island Away and I am 50 pages in.....it's great....thanks!

Suggest to rent a car for the day and make the day at the East of Aruba San Nicolaas
swim and snorkel at the baby beach and go lunch at charlie bar hey have great shrimps

Went to Charlies last week, had a great time. Just finished reading An Island Away, great book looking forward to the next one.

I wish I knew about An Island Away earlier. Our bookstores/libraries don't carry it, and we're leaving soon. Does any place in Aruba sell it?

It is available on the island in many gift shops and of course bookstores. Click on the image below for a copy of the ad which appears in Aruba Today.

You should have no problem finding the book. I have seen it in many of the gift/souvenir shops on the island and it's also sold at Samson bookstore (by the Wendy's at the roundabout).
