A lot of locals travel from San Nicolas to Oranjestad to work each day......not so long!

Charlies Bar doesn't feel touristy - when we went in October for Lunch we were the ONLY ones on the street and in the bar!

Same for us in March we were the only ones in Charlies or around the area. Good fish and drinks...

Charlies Bar
We are planning on heading down to baby beach for the day on 12/31. Last time we did it, we stopped at Charlies Bar on the way back for a late lunch. Does anyone know if Charlie's will be open on 12/31???

I am assuming they will - but may reschedule the excursion if not.

what are your plans for this next trip? ? ? ? Would like to meet you and hubby for a drink sometime. Stanley and I will be there from Dec 16th to Jan 13th. . .

This is a short trip for me (only 5 days) but our plan is to be at Passions Beach Bar at Amsterdam Manor on the day we arrive (Wed. 12/29) for sunset and happy hour and will also be there on Thursday 12/30 for happy hour, too. Would love to meet you and Stanley!
