There had been an ad in Aruba Today newspaper that Cuba's Cookin' was for sale. It was open when I passed the restaurant last month.

Cuba's Cookin' is on our "don't miss" list. Terrific food, really nice people, good music, decent prices, nice art. We are always shocked that this isn't on more people's best list - maybe a good thing because it hasn't become the overrated tourist rap like Flying Fishbones.

This isn't a substitute for soem of your other favorite, but a must to add on to your list. I'm in Aruba from July 5-12 for our annual TS visit at the Surf Club and we are looking for asomething new to try. Any suggestions?

We really enjoyed Amadeus on this last trip. It was our favorite new restaurant - service, food, and prices - all good! Link to their menu:
