    Cooking experience

My hubby and I are long-time travel writers who will be in Aruba in November. One of our travel columns deals with cooking local food. Does anyone know of a place where we can cook something not too complicated that is indicative of Aruba's culture? We need the recipe and to take image of the preparation and history of the recipe.

welcome to the aruba.com community forum.

here are some places that I would recommend that you contact........
    Madame Janette
    Zeerovers
    Buccaneer
    Old Fisherman
    B-55
    El Gaucho

These are a good mix of restaurants that have been in business for a long time, they serve outstanding food with some local recipes.

i would also contact Carte Blanche and Gasparitos

you will need to contact these restaurants to see if they would offer you a cooking experience.
none of them do as far as i know on a regular basis.
but, being "travel writers"....one or more may say yes.

a typical aruban dish is KESHI YENA or FUNCHI or many variations of GROUPER
