    Craft Beer

Looking for a restaurant that has a large beer selection. Looks as though Taste of Belgium may have a good selection. Anyone know of any others? Also looking for a cigar bar since Garufa is closed. Today in Wisconsin the wind chill was -28 below zero. Looking at your high today, it's 114 degrees difference. See you in 3 weeks!!

We are just working with some Florida based Beer wholesalers to get a nice selection of Craft and Euro Beers together for Mj .
What Brews do you guys prefer ??
Moest of the popular Belgium Beers are already available here on the island, i like to add more American Craft and other Great Euro Brews , so that we get a hole Beer Menu in the End, nice presented in there special glass etc.....

    Chef Kasi,

Big fan of your restaurant, your hot sauce AND your asking what craft beers we would enjoy. I for one am an Indian Pale Ale drinker (IPA). This is a very hoppy beer and the US is full of them from about every State. Big name micro/craft IPAs are: Dog Fish Head 60minute. Lagunitas IPA, Racer 5, Firestone Union Jack and I could go on. Here are a few links -

What is so very hard for craft beer drinkers, especially in the IPA world.... is it makes most other beers taste flat with little taste. West coast IPAs tend to be more grapefruit tang type bite in your cheeks (cascade or centenial hops). Please advise if you are able to acquire any. We are coming twice this year. In may for 12 days in which we are bringing 4 other couples and in Sept and bringing 3 couples. We will be sure to do more MJs if it is good food AND craft beer!!

    Thanks!

    Ted

Im in the middle to select a good wholesaler and will keep you updated here, for sure its coming !
Some of them don't want to export and we need to get a Florida based supplier to make the shipping as low as possible otherwise the price will not be all right to sell it over here .
Its harder as it sounds to find a good Wholesaler what will work with us on that . Some of them even ask for a Liqueur Licence what makes no sense to me at ll because its all export to Aruba and it will go right away to a fright forwarders warehouse .

Chef Kasi this is very exciting news!! We always make at least 1 trip to MJ's and I have a feeling as your beer list grows, so will our visits! What my group would love to see are porters, browns and good ambers. We will see you in April, regardless of beer list

    UPDATE

All the Craft Beers are on the way at this moment. I ordered a nice selection (ca 40 Different Brewskys to start with ) with the original Glassware from the US and Europe ( mostly Belgium and Germany from the EU ) only Beers with the Highest Beeradvocate ratings are rare and Hard to get so we make sure we offer the Best Brews out there to our Customers .
I also get a custom made Refrigerated Display Cabinet what will be added to the right side of our Bar .An intense Menu will be made with the right information to each Beer we serve in Mj.

    Cheers
