    cuba's cooking

has anyone eaten here? it's mentioned in fodor's and sounds interesting. if anyone has feedback i'd appreciate it!

another question - are we better off making advance reservations
for dinner or can we "keep it loose" and decide where we're going daily? we'll be on island the first week of november if that helps...

    thanks!

I would not order anything other than the pork dishes at Cuba's Cooking. The pork was very good, but my wife had the seafood and it was horrible. Also, the entertainment is too loud and it is difficult to have a conversation when they are playing.

TERIK, my wife and I enjoyed it... a fun experience with good music and a cozy setting. Food was quite good and would dine there again... but... Cuba's Cooking in not on our annual must do list.

Cuba's is a great fun spot and share a meal place. But, don't share my Mojito! Music's great, people are fun and the Mojito's are among the best on the island. We always make it there a couple times during our three weeks. If I had only a week, probably would not make my list for great food, but it is great fun!

That is one of our stops each year. The food is great and reasonable. The entertainment is great. The singer sounds just like Gloria Estefan.

We always enjoy lunch there, multiple mojito's (yes the best on the island!) and a sandwich with the delicious string french fries. So instead of dinner, try going there for lunch!
