Lisa, Thanks for the 'prod!' We actually tried Gianni's last Tue night. Quite good with excellent food and service. Prices were very reasonable and we'de do it again! As for Daniel's, I'll continue with Sunset Grille.......so many great restaurants and so few opportunities! Time is always limited. Chuck

I agree with the previous comment about Giannis. Good food at reasonable prices (most pasta dishes about $17). However, do watch out because there are a few items on the menu that seem to be way overpriced. I would eat outside because the inside dining room is quite noisy.

Great Food!

Gianni's and Daniel's were both AMAZING!!! The steak I had at Daniel's was so good I would fly back to Aruba just to eat there. Waaaaaaaay better than LG Smith's. If you go to Aruba you HAVE to eat at both of these restaraunts.

I highly recommend the Chocolate Salami for desert.

gianni's

I just made reservations at Gianni's (based on all of your recommendations, thank you all) but I asked for inside(we are a group of 12). I thought the outside might not be that enjoyable as you seem to be right on the street?

Comments...

Went to Gianni's in August and really enjoyed it. We also ate inside. I don't think you will be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our dinners at Gianni's. We ate outside. I thought they had a difficult time cooling the inside of the restaurant. The ceilings are very high. For that reason alone, I would choose to dine outside. It was quite nice.
Buon Appetito,
Bella

Thumbs up Fabulous Steaks at Daniel's!

Hi.....we went to Daniel's Steak and Chop House, a new restaurant just across from the Radisson Hotel. The restaurant itself is not really the most intimate atmosphere. In fact it's a little lacking. There is even a door way up on the side of the wall where an upstairs portion that was unrenovated used to be. It's odd, but that's not why you're here. The service is pleasant enough, and attentive. We were there when there were very few people. Our table had escargot as an appetizer which was good, the seafood soup, which had a load of seafood but unfortunately a rather bland broth, and caesar salad which was very good.

The ultimate though were the steaks. I ordered the boneless ribeye which actually was to die for. The rest of the table all had the small filet mignon which were also fabulous and cooked perfectly to order. The meat honestly was melt in your mouth, and despite the weaknesses mentioned above, the quality of these steaks makes it all worthwhile. I've eaten steak all over the world - these would rank at the top.

Totally and highly recommended if you like steak.
