Dining itinerary for our trip

Hi everyone!!! Thanks so much for all the great advice!!! I think we are near our final lineup! J

I just realized that we (only) have FOUR dinners this trip :~(
Here is how it is shaping up:

>Day1: Café Bacci (its in our hotel, and this is a travel day—how many of you guys have tried the Cheese Wheel pasta? SOOO good!)

>Day2: El Gaucho (thanks for all the great advice! Just seems that (based on poll) El Gaucho is a clear fav! Plus, I enjoyed it last time J

>Day 3: Madam Janette’s (I can always order the steak again, if El Gaucho somehow doesn’t blow me away)

>Day4: Old Man and the Sea

Now, my dilemma is that I just read about the “Wine Around” offer through AGA. None of my restaurants are on that list L. Has anyone done that? Were you happy with it (good deal?)

Also, does anyone know if any of these places offer a discount for that Visit Aruba card (the $15 one)? I heard that some places do, even though they aren’t on the list…

In my mind, the problem with it is that the restaurants on the list are not necessarily the ones you are interested in. So is it really a good deal if you are dining where you were not really interested in going or being restricted by the fixed menu offered with the plan at each restaurant? To me, not worth it. There are plenty of very good restaurants on the island where you can order a bottle (or two) of wine to YOUR liking as well as menu items to go with the wine, for less than $85 per person.
