Dining at Sunset

My fiance and I are coming to Aruba April 19th and we wanted to know the best time to make dinner reservations so that we can see the sunset?

Is it necessary to make reservations prior to arriving in Aruba?

Send a message via AIM to Andrea J.
plan on being seated by 6:15 - 6:40 and you will be able to see sunset (weather cooperating!)

there are some places on island that really require a reservation at least a few days out.
madam janette
flying fishbone
driftwood
leDome
hmm what others?

Flying Fishbone, make reservations ASAP, if you require a table on the beach closest to the water.

At Flying Fishbone if you want to be there for sunset, they will tell you to make the reservation for 5:30 pm.

I know there have been a few troubles at the Light House! But it is a great spot for a sunset view!

Cheap eats?

Thanks so much! We are planning on going to a few expensive restaurants but we wanted to know if there are any places with very good food for dinner but are not in the high price range for other nights?

For someplace different, with a beautiful sunset, try Brisas Del Mar in Savaneta.

My pics for nice food and atmosphere at moderate prices:
• Taste of Belgium (Paseo Mall)
• La Fondue (a 3 course fondue dinner with LOTS of options, including cooking in broth or wine instead of oil is available at a set price... this is such a unique place and a GREAT find!)
• Cuba's Cooking
• Casa Tua (Arawak Gardens, Palm Beach)
• Linda's Pancakes (so Dutch... charming)
• Bingo (a local favorite. The daily specials are the key)
• Rumba (Grilled seafood downtown. Nice drinks too. http://www.rumba-aruba.com )
