Really enjoyed Passions, but for me the Flying Fishbone had a more unique setting and better food. It is worth the drive.
You should go to Flying Fishbone at least once for the atmosphere. But if you don't want to go that far, Passions is also great!

33rd trip to Aruba - May 2016
San Fran/Napa Valley - Sept. 2016
Barcelona, Mallorca, and Andorra - Nov. 2016
we have had mixed dinners at sunset bistro @ the phoenix. the first time it was horrible and the hotel manager actually apologizsed and threw our bill away. the second time it was wonderful-feet in the ocean and grate food and service. guess it depends on the night.
Flying Fishbone is a must if you have never been. I have enjoyed Azull at the Westin. Only 5 tables and the service is excellent. Rudy and Rene will pose you for great sunset pictures while you sip your drinks before dinner.

We just got back from Aruba. We ate one evening at the Sunset Bistro at the Phoenix Divi. The service was TERRIBLE and the food was no better than average. It was not worth the money. Try some place else...
Like many have said flying fishbone would be good if you have a rental car. Also depends on where you are staying as far as a taxi... Staying in the high rise hotels it would cost you $26 one way for a taxi.
We had a great dinner at passions, beautiful sunset, good food and great service. We went last week for our 10 year anniversary....first time in Aruba and will defintiely not be the last. Like everyone says..."once you go....you are hooked" Boy am I hooked on Aruba!!!
