There are choices for non-seafood eaters at both Flying Fishbone and Marina Pirata. Two excellent choices imho.

Thank you so much so intrested in going to this flying fishbone how are they price wise i am a very picky eater like chicken is all i will eat i do not try new things so i hope they can be patient with me and cook my food to how i like it.

Do they serve other things or is it just what is listed on the menu.

we are going to be on a budget and do not mind spending our money on the food if it's really worth it.

sorrry to be so difficult just we want this to be the best vacation ever and all you guys seem to know what you are talking about.

It is going to be an EXPENSIVE dinner. We figure on 2 glasses of wine with dinner to be a minimum of $100 for 2 of us. Their least expensive entrees are "vegetarian" at $27. See the rest of the menu and you can judge for yourself whether or not it will fit into your budget. http://flyingfishbone.com/ourmenu/index.html

My advice to people has always been to ask how much is a "once in a lifetime romantic experience" worth to them? If you can come up with a price and this fits into your budget, then go for it.

IF it is too much then check into Passions on the beach at the Amsterdam Manor. We had hoped to try it in September however they were closed for the month. I know their menu prices are a lot less expensive http://www.amsterdammanor.com/en/menu_passions_restaurant.html than the FFB and have heard from friends that the food is very good. They are Aruba experts and I trust their good judgement. Also see http://www.restaurantsaruba.com/view...ml?REST_ID=150

I'll tell you where not to eat...Passions outside, on the beach.....music to loud, bathroom a mile away, and so dark out you couldn't see what the heck you're eatting. Oh, by the way, the food was fair at best. Waste of $$$.

i agree about passions not being good
we went there once and ended up leaving since it got too dark, the service was poor and we were getting bitten by teeney weeney flies. we were seated at 6:15. Our order was taken at 7. when they came back at 8 and asked us "what did you order" we left.

Linda's Pancake Place was mighty good that evening.

A couple of years ago we had the same crappy service at Sunset Beach Bistro, (at the Phoenix) except we stayed for the meal..... and the food was horrendous.

We (myself and a group of friends) just ate at Passions this past April and thought it was good as always. Have also held a few bulletin board parties there for dinner (large group of people) and have always received good service and food.

Reviews of Passions at the following link:

Having said that, if you can afford the Flying Fishbone, go for it - it really is a wonderful place. Passions would be my second choice.
