    Dinner recommendations/reservationsThe

Traveling to Aruba on Friday April 29th. Looking for restaurant recommendations. Also, is it necessary to make reservations? Thanks in advance!

also too, on your first posting, i had made recommendations re: the fishing and Barefoot, Madame Janettes and Ricardos.

Although reservations for some places are not necessary, it is always a good idea to have a reservation in place (for places like Barefoot, MJs, Passions, Carte Blanche etc)

In no particular order or price point:

    Carte Blanche
    Kitchen Table
    Wilhelmina
    Fred
    Elements
The Restaurant at Tierra Del Sol
    2 Fools and a Bull
    White Modern Cuisine
    Gostoso
    Local Store
    Barney's
    Alfie's

I've reviewed each in the Culinary thread - just search on the restaurant name and you'll get a number of perspectives.

    Yes, make reservations.

Probably too late to get a reservation at 2 Fools and a Bull, White Modern, Carte Blanche and Fred's. Don't forget Papiamento's, Madame Janettes and or the Flying Fishbone if you have a car.

Definitely walk over to the beach bar at Manchebo for lunch. Twist of Flavors is another good place nearby for a good meal, but not really an evening long event, if that makes sense.

We are on the island right now and it is not crowded at all. I would still recommend reservations for some of the more popular places, but they should be able to be had.
