    Dinner reservation question?

    How long is it reasonable to wait for a reservation confirmation? After obsessing about where to go for our 31st anniversary, I made an on-line reservation at Barefoot. It's been almost a week and I haven't heard anything. My thoughts are they may have been really busy with Easter reservations and my request is for May so I'll wait until next week before tying again. My experience with other restaurants has been that I've always heard within a day or two. For some reason I am finding this annoying and think I should just reserve with my second choice

    I always hear back from Barefoot in a day or two. I'd email them again. Sometimes emails from Aruba go to my spam box, and I have to check it often when I'm making my Aruba reservations. They are usually very good about getting right back to me. Don't give up. It's worth it!

    if you use SKYPE, would you consider calling them?
    SKYPE calls to aruba are just pennies.

    I'm going to have to try Skype one of these days. Not sure why I haven't but fear it may because I'm too vain and don't like the way I look on the screen! . My plan is to email them later today and see how it goes. I have a list of restaurants I want to try, so we can always switch to plan B. I did check my spam folder as well but nothing there.

    You do not have to have video feed with Skype. Can be a regular call.
    Pretty easy just download and add a few dollars from your credit card.

    I didn't realize you don't have to use video with Skype. Good to know.

    they have not been replying to her emails
    that is why i suggested skype
