Question Dinner with your feet in the ocean? (Well almost)

I have a quick question for all you Aruba lovers -- A coworker of mine (a while back) was speaking about a restaurant in which you can pretty much eat your dinner and be that close to the water ... does this ring a bell with anyone or did I imagine the whole thing in my many Aruba dreams?

Thanks! Also was wondering if there were any specific bars worth checking out?

Depends on how far back you are talking...Old Man and the Sea hasn't been open that long, I think it was oct/nov time frame. He could have been talking about Flying Fishbone.

well, with flying fishbone you can literally eat with your feat in the water. they have 3-4 tables on the outer edge of the shoreline in the water. but beware, i've seen couples get swamped with the occassional waves from the speedboats that pass by. also, the crashing waves, no matter how subtle, do cause a splash and gets your pants, shorts wet.

The following restaurants are on the beach....tables (and your feet) are in the sand near the water's edge:

Old Man & The Sea
Flying Fishbone
Passions

Photo in my signature below was taken at Passions.

There is also the Sunset Bistro. We have had dinner there over the years and sat with feet close to the water. Food had not been so good the last time we went, used to be much better.

Here is a direct link to the video I made of The Old Man and The Sea Video. It will show you some seating options.

Very nice video of the restaurant. Are they open for lunch??
Btw, I'm planning to pickup your book at the local library for my trip.
