    Drink of choice?

At home I pretty much stick with wine when going out to dinner. In Aruba, however, I tend to mix it up. I may go for a cold Balashi or a Bright, or even Something tropical. West Deck does some delicious tropical concoctions! One drink I enjoyed a few years back was the after dinner cordial , Lost Symphony which was a specialty at Amadeus. Now that Amadeus is closed I wonder if it's even available anywhere. So, what do you enjoy?

Amstel Brights during the day. Mojitos at happy hour. Champagne at sunset. Wine with dinner. There's a drink for every time of day/night.

I'm not much for frozen type drinks but I was talked into a frozen mojito at the West Deck last year and loved it!

I also loved the Lost Symphony after dinner drink....miss it!

Most of the time I stick to water as I have to drive. But if I don't have to drive, my choice would be Muscatel wine.

Lemme join you seasoned folks with my choices.....

Amstel Brights for (oops! with) lunch. Aruba Ariba for happy hour, generally a Grey Goose sour or gimlet before dinner and vodka and cranberry in the casino. If I'm playing a lot, I can generally get comped for Grey Goose and cranberry. I really don't care for wine.... so that's never part of the program.... oh yes, and lots and lots of water. At home I cut it all out except for the water and and a coupla beers now and then.

Side note..... I never refer to 'a' beer....... it's always .... beers.....!
