    You all made me hungry and I just started a diet this week. LOL.
    Well at least I got some good ideas for my next trip.

    My take:
    Almond Grouper at MJ
    Weiner Schnitzel, Steaks. Apple Struddle. The best lobster bisque I ever had in my life at Chalet Suise
    Mixed Sea Food platter at Matthews Beach Grill
    Surf & Turf at Matthews Beach Grill
    Empanadas, fried pork bites, Cuban stuffed Roast Pork and mojitos at Cubas Cookin.
    Mexican Pizza -Pizza Bobs
    Believe it or not I love the Chicken Parm made with Gouda Cheese at the Islander Grill at La Cabana Resort.

    That sounded really good but I just looked at their menu and they have Shrimp Thermidor but not Lobster thermidor on there.

    Bob .. the last time I was there was 2007 .. I had something Thermidor and it was delicious! maybe it was at the Chalet Suisse.. I will look up the old pictures and see if i can tell. We bought two oil painting that night which are in my kitchen at home right now. We really miss it there. The owners were from NJ and the place was packed!

    I definitely miss Rumba. We always stopped there after my shopping spree. Other places that come to mind that I have not yet tried but get good reviews;
    Linda's Pancakes - they have some wonderful sounding dessert combinations
    Zeerovers - seems like a great place to chill with a few beers and fried shrimp; and
    Costa Riba - local spot near baby beach. When we get back to Aruba I may even rent a car so I can give it a try.
    Windows on Aruba - We have been and I thought the rack of lamb was superb! Husband didn't care for it because he said wait staff hovered. I say they were attentive!

    Local places! If you want to eat as the residents do, follow tom's suggestions. He knows the spots to hit.
